It never hurts to check out on-line job sites.  Some employment seekers have found success using these services.  Some sites require no registration for those seeking jobs, charging the employer for the listing.  Other sites require registration of job seekers, and may want to offer services for sale, such as hosting online resumes and also shopping of resumes.  NCChaplains.com does not endorse or recommend any of these services, but lists some for informational purposes only.  Searches at the sites listed below were simply for the keyword: Chaplain.  Listings at the APC site (see further below) are limited, most likely, because of the cost to employers.

Www.monster.com, in a recent check (2/12/08), listed 76 Chaplain positions, with only a few being military.  Www.careerbuilder.com on 2/12/08 listed 130 positions for "Healthcare Chaplain," though some are for new agencies that are looking for many positions at once.   Many of these are at hospitals or healthcare agencies.  Other sites to check are on Yahoo under their employment listings, www.nationjobs.com and www.craigslist.com
