Provides spiritual care and emotional support to Hospice patients and families. Serves as a therapeutic liaison between patients, their families, and their faith communities. Prepares and presents community education programs as needed and/or requested. Assists with support groups and educational events as requested.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree (M.Div.) from an accredited seminary or equivalent required. Educational and clinical experience in the area of death and dying required. Minimum two years of pastoral care experience and (4) four units of Clinical Pastoral Education required (C.P.E.). Ordination required. Membership in N.C. Chaplain's Association desirable.
